Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Auto Oracle AI, LLC ("Auto Oracle," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to autooracleai.com, the Auto Oracle dashboard, and the Auto Oracle browser extension.

1. Information we collect

Contact & demo requests: name, dealership, email, phone, and the market(s) you sell in, when you submit a form or request a demo.
Account information: the name, store, role, and login credentials used to access the dashboard.
Vehicle listing data: the public private-seller listing details (year, make, model, price, mileage, location, days listed, and listing photos for analysis) that the browser extension captures within your own logged-in browser session on platforms you choose to view.
Acquisition data you log: deal status and, where you enter it, the price you actually paid for a vehicle.
Billing: payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers; Stripe does.
Usage & device data: standard log/analytics data (e.g., pages viewed, approximate location, browser type), and — on our public marketing pages only — advertising measurement cookies described in section 6.

2. Listing photos — kept only while the listing is live

When the system evaluates a listing, it reads the listing's photos to grade condition and to detect dealer-vs-private-seller signals. We keep those photos only for as long as that vehicle is still listed for sale. When the listing comes down — sold, deleted, or expired — a scheduled job deletes the stored photos automatically, and we retain only the structured findings plus a single reference link to the original listing image. We do not build a library of other people's photographs, and we do not share stored photos between dealers.

Separately, the raw page captures the system collects during a scan are held for up to 48 hours so that a questionable read can be re-checked without re-collecting the listing, and are then discarded.

3. How we use information

To provide and operate the Service (surface, score, and rank listings; run the board; process billing).
To improve the Service and our market benchmarks, including in aggregated, de-identified form.
To communicate with you about your account, support, and the product.

4. What we do NOT do

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your individual purchases, your contacts, or your identifiable dealership data with other dealers. Your numbers sharpen your own results; only de-identified aggregates inform network-wide benchmarks.

The browser extension operates only inside your own authenticated session, on platforms you are already logged into and choose to view. You are responsible for your own use of those third-party platforms and their terms.

5. Sharing with service providers

We share data with vendors that help us run the Service (e.g., hosting, payment processing, analytics, AI processing), under agreements limiting their use to providing services to us. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Advertising & measurement cookies

Our public marketing pages — the home page and the trial signup pages — load the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel. It records that a page was viewed and, if you start a free trial, that a signup happened, so we can tell which advertising actually reaches dealers. It does not send Meta your password, and it does not receive the vehicle data, acquisition data, or customer records inside the product.

The pixel is not present inside the Auto Oracle dashboard. Once you sign in, your work on your own board is not shared with any advertising network.

You can block it with any standard ad blocker or browser tracking protection; the site and the signup form work normally either way. Meta's own explanation of what the pixel collects is at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

7. Data retention & security

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use commercially reasonable safeguards; no system is perfectly secure.

8. Your choices

You can cancel your subscription at any time, request access to or deletion of your account data, and opt out of non-essential email. To make a request, contact us below.

9. Children

The Service is for licensed dealers and business users and is not directed to anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; we will post the new effective date here and, for material changes, notify account holders.
