Privacy Policy — Auto Oracle AI Vehicle Sourcing (Chrome Extension)

The Auto Oracle AI — Vehicle Sourcing extension is a professional tool for dealership used-vehicle buyers who hold an active Auto Oracle subscription. This policy describes exactly what it collects, where that data goes, and what we never do with it.

What the extension collects

• Public vehicle listing details from listings on pages you view: year, make, model, price, mileage, location, listing URL, listing photographs, and any seller display name shown publicly on the listing.
• Your own settings, stored locally on your device: your market, search radius, and the account identifier that routes captures to your dealership's board.

What it does not collect

• Passwords or login credentials
• Private messages or conversations
• Facebook account or profile information belonging to you
• Browsing history, or any activity on sites other than the Marketplace vehicle listings you view
• Financial, health, or payment information

Where the data goes

Captured vehicle listing details are transmitted over an encrypted connection to Auto Oracle AI servers at autooracleai.com and stored against your own dealership's account. There the listings are organised, filtered, and scored to produce the acquisition board your buying team uses. This transmission is the purpose of the extension — it is how the board gets its inventory.

Your captured listings are visible to your own dealership account. They are not shown to other Auto Oracle customers as your data.

What we never do

• We do not sell your data, and we do not transfer it to third parties for their own purposes.
• We do not use it for any purpose unrelated to operating your acquisition board.
• We do not use it to assess creditworthiness or for lending decisions.
• We do not use it for advertising or advertising profiles.

Vehicle data only

Auto Oracle is a vehicle-data product. We are interested in cars, not people. Where a seller's public display name appears on a listing, it is used solely to identify high-volume commercial sellers so their listings can be filtered out of a dealer's board — the core function customers buy. We do not build profiles of private individuals and we do not enrich, resell, or market to sellers.

Retention

Listing records are retained while they remain relevant to your board and are retired automatically once a listing is no longer active. On written request we will delete the listing data associated with your account.

Your control

The extension captures only when you run it, on the pages you are viewing, in your own browser session. You can pause or uninstall it at any time from chrome://extensions. Uninstalling stops all capture immediately. Local settings are removed with the extension.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our infrastructure provider under their access controls. Access is limited to the dealership account it belongs to and to Auto Oracle personnel who need it to operate and support the service.

Changes

If the extension's data flow changes, this policy and our Chrome Web Store data disclosures will be updated before that version ships.
